Northside Music

Reminder: Variety Show audition forms are due Friday April 15th. Auditons will be the week of the 25th.

4th Grade: Recorder Karate starts this week. If you are bringing a recorder from home please bring it with you to music class this week.

In third grade we will be inventing our own instruments over the next few weeks. The students will need to brainstorm ideas about what kind of instrument they can make from materials around the house. Please start collecting things such as rubber bands, paper towel roles, shoe boxes, etc.

I will send home more information with those students working on the project when we get more into it.

FINAL HOLIDAY PROGRAM INFORMATION

Pre-school, K-2 Grade – Please have students at their homerooms at 6:15 on Tuesday December 7th. The program will begin at 6:30.

Costumes : Sherrill – Red/White/Black (candy canes)
Mizell – Green/White/Black (candy Canes)
Kindergarten – Red/Black (soldiers)
Pre-school and 2nd Grade – Holiday dress clothes

3rd – 5th Grade – Please have students in their homerooms at 6:15 Thursday December 9th. The program will begin at 6:30

Costumes: All grades wear nice holiday dress clothes

DVDs of the programs will be available for $5.00. Order forms will be available at the programs.
