Welcome to Woodford County Schools

Our web site is designed for our students, families and staff. Located on the left is our "Main menu" with a "Frequently used links" list. On the right of each page is a calendar listing district events. As you visit various pages within our site, the calendar will reflect events for those pages. Calendar events can be downloaded to your computer calendar. In the coming months, we are going to allow parents and guests to create accounts (students and staff already have accounts) and subscribe to school web pages, discussions, and notification systems making our web page truly interactive. Until that time you are able to view our site as a guest. Please take your time to browse our site and orient yourself to our new format.

Please remember CATS testing begins Monday, April 21^st. The students need a good night’s sleep and a good breakfast to be well prepared for the testing. Your help is most appreciated.

On a very positive academic note, Woodford County sent eighteen (18) applicants to the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) for the Governor’s Scholar Program. Sixteen (16) of them were selected which is a record for Woodford County. We are extremely proud of their individual accomplishments!

The last day of school for students is Thursday, May 29, 2008.

Graduation is on May 31^st at 1:00 p.m.
